Background
MUIMUN is one of the largest and most prestigious MUN conference in Continental Europe, taking place in the beautiful historical castle of the picturesque city of Münster. What makes MUIMUN special is its high-quality debates, several interesting simulated committees and an unforgettable social experience! With 200 delegates attending from all over the world, MUIMUN is always a great experience for networking and meeting people with diverse backgrounds and experiences. MUIMUN 2024 will convene under the theme "Beyond Europe – Bridging Continents, Sustaining our Future". From May 9th to 12th, delegates will be able to immerse themselves in the world of Model United Nations. MUIMUN promises an enriching experience for both newcomers and seasoned MUNers alike. With committees conducted in English, Spanish, and French, and with delegates from around the globe, you'll find yourself immersed in a dynamic, multicultural environment. There will be a committee and topic for everyone, no matter your academic background or previous MUN experience. In the 4 days of the conference, you will have the opportunity to debate with like-minded young adults to look for the most suitable and adequate solutions to pressing global issues.
Preparatory Track
The Preparatory Track for Leiden MUN’s delegation to MUIMUN 2024 will run from March until May 2024 (exact dates below). Delegates will be thoroughly trained in the arts of public speaking, negotiation, resolution writing, leadership and more. Further information is provided under the “How we teach” section of this website. Moreover, we offer delegates the enriching experience of visiting embassies within The Hague. This allows you the unique experience of engaging in dynamic and thought-provoking conversations with professionals in the International Relations and Diplomacy fields. Not only will you have an opportunity to deepen your understanding of politics and diplomacy through hearing first-hand, real-life experiences, but you will also gain insight into job applications and networking.

Travel dates to/from Munster: 8th - 12th May.
Delegation fee: Approx. €385
(Conference fee Muimun, Conference fee LeiMUN, accommodation, travel & social events).
*Only for Students of Leiden University/Leiden University College and for those between the ages of 18-25.
